POSITION DESCRIPTION

 

 

TITLE:                                              Bookkeeper, School                                                 

 

REPORTS TO:                              Principal                                                                     

 

LENGTH OF CONTRACT OR WORK YEAR:                         9 months (202 days)           

 

 

SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  1. Maintains complete and accurate financial data for the school.
  2. Processes all purchase orders and vouchers for the school.
  3. Maintains all activity accounts.
  4. Collects, counts and receipts all money.
  5. Makes deposits in a timely manner.
  6. Submits all necessary reports to the Finance Director in a timely manner.
  7. Any other duties as assigned by the principal and/or assistant principal(s).
  8. Regular in person attendance                                                                                 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. High school diploma.
  2. Accounting or bookkeeping experience
  3. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

                                                                                                                                     

 

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
